Brianna Blazeiko
Community Coordinator

“I eagerly joined the Cultivator team in February 2024 after years of supporting with their events. With a background in marketing, event coordination, and hands-on creative work through my wedding and floral businesses, I bring creativity and a detail-oriented approach to the team. Outside of work, I love walking my dog Lex, exploring new destinations across the world, and relaxing at the lake. I’m excited to collaborate with amazing colleagues, work alongside visionary founders, and create exceptional experiences for our community.”

Matt Brennan
Program Manager

“I’ve jumped into the tech space from a background in business consulting. I have worked with organizations across Saskatchewan to develop and set strategic direction, facilitate leadership development and team training workshops. I am passionate about seeing businesses thrive in Saskatchewan. I am excited to journey alongside startups in the ecosystem and see companies START, GROW, and SCALE. When I’m not at work you can find me traveling, camping, or playing board games with friends.”

Calder Dollard
Program Coordinator

“Upon graduating from the University of Regina Business Program in 2020, I worked in logistics, overseeing and coordinating the transportation of commodities across the prairies and into the U.S., where I further developed my business and agricultural knowledge. As someone who has lived in Regina my entire life, and as someone who considers themselves a techno-optimist, I am thrilled to be able to contribute to the developing startup ecosystem in my backyard. I love fostering relationships and helping contribute to the growth of dynamic ventures. In my spare time, you can find me at the lake, relaxing with friends or playing golf.”

Kalen Leflar
Program Coordinator

“My journey supporting startups in Saskatchewan began while I was pursuing a degree in Business Administration, along with two related certificates, at the University of Regina. In early 2022, I joined a Regina-based micro-VC fund as an Analyst. During my time in this role, I gained valuable experience in venture capital management, startup fundraising, and supporting the daily challenges faced by early-stage companies. In March 2023, I co-founded a startup called Statrat, where I continue to dedicate much of my free-time to learning from and growing my own startup. These experiences in my home province have fueled my passion for supporting Saskatchewan’s local tech startup ecosystem. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors and with my friends and family.”

Rebecca Franklin
Program Coordinator

“My excitement stems from a profound passion for technology and innovation. It all started on my family farm in Radville, SK, where I witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of agricultural innovation on efficiency and productivity. After spending five years in the SK Ag sector, I ventured into the tech sector in Halifax, NS, where I immersed myself in the world of startups, venture capital, and the critical factors investors seek in companies. Now, at Cultivator, I’m eagerly embracing the opportunity to lend my support to Scale and Agtech founders as they build companies that contribute to a brighter and more promising future!”
