Supporting and empowering women entrepreneurs

Cultivator powered by Conexus (Cultivator) is dedicated to supporting the advancement of women entrepreneurs and leaders here at home and around the world.

Since launching in 2019, we are fortunate to have supported 29 female-founded tech companies through our START, GROW and SCALE programs, which represents 35% of all companies Cultivator has supported to-date.. We currently have nine female-founded companies in our GROW and SCALE programs, who to date have:

  • Generated over $2.3 million in revenue;
  • Raised over $1.5 million in capital; and
  • Received over $1.8 million in government funding

Additionally, of all our current GROW and SCALE tech companies at Cultivator, 17% of their employees are female. As the tech industry tends to be more male-dominated, Cultivator is dedicated to empowering more women to enter the tech world and has demonstrated this through collaboration with WESK on a number of workshops and events led by the females on the Cultivator Team – which also happens to have gender equality.

While there is still a lot more that we can do, we believe we are taking meaningful steps to lead the change and help #BreakTheBias in the tech industry. The women we support are trailblazers and are making waves within the #SKtech community.

Today, and everyday, we celebrate the difference and impact they are making in our startup world and around the globe. And we will be here to continue championing, supporting, and celebrating the next generation of women entrepreneurs and leaders.
